Mixed Wholesale Orders: How the 240-Can Minimum Works

A 240-can minimum can sound like a lot for a small shop. In practice, because you can mix any brands and order in steps of 10 cans, it is easier to reach than it looks, and you do not need 240 cans of the same product.

This guide explains how the minimum works and how to plan an order that fits a small shelf.

The rules in short

• Minimum 240 cans per warehouse.
• Any mix of brands, flavours, strengths and formats.
• Steps of 10 cans per product: 10, 20, 30 and so on.
• Four warehouses: Northern EU (our own stock in Lithuania), Central EU, Scandinavian and Eastern EU.

The minimum applies to each warehouse separately. If your order includes products from two warehouses, each part needs to reach 240 cans.

Why "per warehouse" matters

Each warehouse ships its part of the order. That is why the minimum is counted per warehouse, not per order.

Every product page shows which warehouse holds stock. Some products are available from more than one warehouse. For example, some VELO products are stocked in several of our warehouses, while other products are only in one. When you plan an order, check the warehouse first.

A simple approach

1. Choose the warehouse that holds most of the products you want.
2. Build your order from that warehouse up to at least 240 cans.
3. Only add a second warehouse if you have enough demand to fill a second 240-can order.

For most small shops, one warehouse per order is the easiest route.

How 10-can steps help

Because each product is sold in steps of 10, you can spread 240 cans across many products. Some ways to split 240 cans:

A mix is usually best: more cans of your known best sellers, and 10 cans each of products you want to test.

Example: a small kiosk's first order

This is an illustrative plan, not a recommendation for any specific shop. Product availability varies by warehouse, so check before you order.

Best sellers, 20-30 cans each:

• A cool or peppermint product, such as VELO Crispy Peppermint or ZYN Cool Mint Slim S3
• A spearmint product, such as VELO Green Spearmint or ZYN Spearmint Slim S2
• A popular fruit, such as VELO Tropical Mango

Core range, 10-20 cans each:

• A berry product, such as ZYN Red Berry Fizz Slim S2 or VELO Black Currant
• A mini option, such as VELO Bright Spearmint Mini
• A higher-strength mint, such as LOOP Smooth Mint Extra Strong or KILLA Cold Mint

Tests, 10 cans each:

• A liquorice product, such as VELO Salty Liquorice or ZYN Violet Licorice Slim
• A coffee or other flavour, such as ZYN Coffee Mini
• One or two products from a brand you have not stocked before

Add products until you reach 240 cans, then check each line against the warehouse.

Avoid overstocking

A few habits keep a mixed order under control:

• Base quantities on sales, not guesses. After your first order, reorder in line with what sold.
• Keep tests small. 10 cans is enough to see if a new product works.
• Do not spread too thin. If you have 24 products at 10 cans each, best sellers may run out quickly. Weight the order toward proven products.
• Watch the best-before dates. Order what you can sell in a reasonable time.

Payment and delivery

When the order is ready, you receive a proforma invoice and pay by bank transfer. Companies with a valid EU VAT number pay 0% VAT (reverse charge).
